2016 NEWS: Confirmed: John Mac and his Cat

Mark Trenoweth’s ex-John McCormack Jaguar XJS Sports Sedan is the first beast confirmed for the ‘Sports Racing Car Invitational’, a new demo session for 2016. The Big Cat will be piloted by its creator, McCormack, one of Australian motor racing’s living treasures. Mac will be on hand Sunday to chat to fans.Confirmed: John Mac and his Cat

This 6.0-litre Jaguar XJS is both pure-bred and feral. It’s a rare breed of Historic Sports Sedan in being prolifically raced for much of its life but surviving unmolested today. It’s profiled in depth in issue #88 of Australian Muscle Car magazine.

Invited cars for the ‘Sports Racing Car Invitational’ demo come from the ranks of historic Sports Sedans, GT cars, plus Can-Am, Le Mans-style and Big Banger sportscars. Watch this space for more announcements.
